Dominique Macias, Editor-in-Chief
Dominique Macias is a senior, finalizing a degree in media advertising. When promoted as EIC in summer 2025, she launched Minero’s very first web column: Between You & Me. Her published works have been about identity and culture, and she hopes to further her creative direction in the film industry as both a writer and director.
Gael Araiza, Art Director
Gael Araiza is a senior at UTEP majoring in graphic design and minoring in communication studies. He is the art director for Minero Magazine and also serves as the online editor and English copy editor. He hopes to one day work in a in a multimedia design role.
Iziah Moreno, Photo Editor
Iziah Moreno is a junior at UTEP majoring in media advertising. He is the photo editor for Minero Magazine. He hopes to continue working in the world of media.
Rumi Sevilla-Hernandez, Web Editor
Rumi Sevilla is a senior majoring in Multimedia Journalism with a minor in Political Science. She is the web/social media editor for Minero Magazine, and has also contributed as a writer and photographer for the magazine and its sister publication: The Prospector. Beyond her role at the magazine, Rumi continues to work on freelance and collaborative projects centered on human rights and political issues. She plans to pursue her Masters in Documentary Film after graduation.
